Audie-AH!!! Oh my goodness I'm back! It's been so long.....about how long I have no clue. Today's a snow day and last night I had thought up the perfect idea for this chapter! YAY!!!! I'm so happy to be back. I'll try and update more often but I can't promise anything.
Disclaimer- I own nothing. Not the stars in the sky not the ones in your eyes. Not the beat of your heart not the things that are inside. So I don't own anything, besides the plot.
“She wasn’t there.”
“What!?”
“Did I stutter? She. Wasn’t. There.”
A figure stands up from a chair. It walks up to the other figure that had announced the bad news. The figure’s body is tense and the anger could be seen radiating off it. Standing in front of the messenger the figures fists clench in anger.
“This better be a joke.” A smirk could be seen pulling its way across the messengers face. The messenger enjoyed the anger it brought forth from the figure, it enjoyed it immensely.
“Would I tell you something like this if it was?”
“Yes, yes you would. I know you, you’d do anything for a good laugh.” The smirk on the messengers face grew larger at the, I guess you could say, complement.
“Well I’ve already had my laugh of the day. And it wasn’t this, so don’t believe me that’s fine. But it’ll only come back to bite you in the ass.”
The figure let an animalistic growl bubble up from its throat as it glared down the messenger. If this certain messenger hadn’t been a friend of the figures then he would surely be dead.
“Do you know who could have taken her?”
The messenger had been walking to the door of the office, ready to leave since it seemed his services were not needed any longer. The messenger stopped the smirk now planted back firmly on its face. It turned back around, the smirk gone, but only temporarily. It shrugged.
“I haven’t the smallest clue. But…..” The messenger trailed off in a dramatic pause. It loved the look on the figure’s face as it continued to taunt it.
“But what!?”
“Calm down, I was getting to it….” The messenger smiles, “But….we have a feeling she was never there to begin with.”
The figures body lets go of some of the anger and its body stops tensing. The look on the figures face is one of confusion and anger, yet not as much as before. Walking back to it’s seat the figure sits down resting it’s elbows on the desk in front of it, it’s head on top of it’s hands.
“Well then, where would she be?”
The messenger, smile still on its face walks back up to the desk taking a seat on top the desk. It picks up a small trinket that had been sitting on the desk and starts tossing it from one hand to the next.
“We have a feeling that she’s still alive.”

The sound of a trains whistle fills the empty lands of desert. As a jack rabbit pokes its head up from under a bush to inspect the train that was slowly coming into view. Chugging slowly down the tracks was the train headed towards Central.
On the very train in the second compartment sat Ed and Al. Al was staring silently out the window not daring to interrupt his brother. Ed on the other hand was staring defiantly at your diary. Daring it to make the first move, give him the first clue as to what killed you. How you died.
But come one, it’s only a diary so Ed had to make the first move. His white gloved hands slowly opened up the diary the pages fell open softly as he did so. He swallowed hard as he sighed and started turning pages. He turned pages until he came across one particular entry that peeked his interest.

‘Dear Diary,
Every time I leave the house I always feel like I’m being watched. I hope it’s a good type of watched not a bad. Like maybe Ed or Al is watching over me so I don’t get myself in trouble. Or maybe I’m just being paranoid. I pull for the latter.
Reziembol has been busy with State Alchemists lately. Yet not one of them is Ed. Every time I see a blue uniform get off the train or leave a store I run and wait just to see if maybe he or she has a red and black wearing State Alchemist with them. Yet they never seem to. They always give me the same look; a mixture between hate, pity, and joy. It scares me every time I see it but, maybe that’s just how they have to be; being State Alchemists and all. Well that’s all to tell really, just another day of wishing and hoping. And them crashing to the ground.’

Ed frowned, when did State Alchemists ever come to Reziembol? And if so why wouldn’t Roy have sent him? It was his home town after all and Roy new of Winry and (your name) waiting back there for him.
Something wasn’t right about this and he could feel it. He closed the diary and stuffed it into one of his inside coat pockets. His hands then rested in his lap as he started to stare out the window as Al was doing.
“Almost there…”
“Yeah…..Brother?”
“Yeah Al?”
“Who would do something like that to (your name)?”
Ed stayed silent. Really to tell you the truth he didn’t know. Who would kill then unbury the grave. It didn’t make any sense. They had just pulled off one of the most perfect undetectable crimes ever yet it seems almost as if that wasn’t their full plan.
“I…don’t know Al. I really don’t know. Some sick perv’ or something.”
He said looking back out the window. Central could be seen coming faster and faster into view. The crackling of the speakers brought Ed and Al from their revere and now to the voice of the conductor.
“We will be arriving in Central in 5 minutes. Please collect your things before getting off the train. I hope you have enjoyed your trip.”
Ed stood up as did Al as they went about collecting their things from the over head compartments and what not. They did it in silence both of them thinking about what this trip to Central could mean, what it was that they would find. And if it would even be a good thing.

A small house can be seen, lights twinkling merrily in the night. The stars over head shining down upon the house like it’s smiling at the people inside. An older gentleman maybe in his late 40’s early 50’s walks into the house taking his coat off.
He places it on the back of a chair by a crackling fire. The house is small, one big room and a smaller bathroom but that was okay. The man walks over to the fire and slips off his shoes letting them warm up. He rubs his hands together before grabbing the teapot that sat on the table behind him.
He sets it down on the stove and turns up the flame. He then turns around and looks towards his bed. There lies a figure sleeping. He walks over to check on the person. Checking the figures head to see if the fever the person once had was gone he fixes the blankets, but as he starts to walk away he notices the person waking up.
Stopping he turns back around and watches as the eyes of the person slowly open up. A sad yet happy smile graces his features as he sees the person wake up.
“Well you’re finally awake.”
