~ “You Ready?” He looked at you. You looked back skeptically, he chuckled. “I told you this was going to be worth your time.” And with that he pulled out of your drive way and drove off down the street.
This Time On Dancing Games-Angels With Dirty Faces
You sat in complete silence…………complete silence. There is nothing you hate more then complete silence, it’s dreary and boring. Fiddling with your thumbs you start humming one of your favorite songs. Marik looks at you out of the corner of his eye. “What song is that?”
The sound of his voice makes you jump out of your skin. You’re as nervous as can be, what can you say? “Uh…..Um….What?” you stutter out. ‘Nice going (y/n) can’t even make a sentence around the guy.’ Marik turns to look back at the road. “What song are you humming?” you blink….. “Um…Oh Yeah it’s Full Of Grace it’s one of my favorite songs.” Lucky for you humming that song started off a whole conversation about music and what not. No more silence.
“I love music…..I was planning on taking you to a local concert for our date if that’s ok with you?” You look at Marik and nod your head enthusiastically. “That would be wonderful!” Marik chuckled at your enthusiastic reply. “Good!” he pushed his foot harder on the gas pedal making the car speed up.
At The Concert
“YOU CALL THIS A LOCAL CONCERT!” You scream to Marik over the loud raging crowd. Shrugging he looks at you with a smirk “I SAID LOCAL CONCERT NOT A LOCAL BAND!”
Marik had taken you to a Sum 41 concert at the local concert hall. You weren’t mad you were ecstatic. You loved Sum 41, they started playing one of your favorite songs, Angels With Dirty Faces
I need this to get me through
can't resist, don't want to
believe it, I know it's true
can't beat it, don't want to try
(a perfect hell)
You start singing along to the song, it reminded of your past. You had lived in a negative environment as your counselor put it, your mother was a drunk and your father was in your eyes your savior but growing older you realized that he was nothing but a coward. Your mother would beat you and refuse to feed you for up to 4 days on end, your father would try to sneak you some food or try to stop your mother from beating you but he would always lose.
Your father stopped trying to sneak you food for fear of your mother, one day he just left, he left you there with your mother, that’s when you knew he was not your savior but only a cowardly man.
When you got older and finally escaped your mothers hell hole you got on the bad track in life, smoking what ever you could get your hands on, drinking, and cutting. Yes you loved to cut, it was all thanks to your mother who cut you with knifes when she felt angry, when she did it, it made you forget the hurt you were in or how hungry you were. Now when you cut you want to forget that pain.
there's more to me than you ever will know
down here where the rest of us fell
waste away, nothing left to show
while I'm in this perfect hell
obsession has begun
possessed by destruction
how did I get so low
believe me no one knows
sometimes I can't hold on
and no one can help me
You became detached from the world around you, only your friends and your cowardly father knew what happened to you. They tried to help, talking, steeling what ever you were smoking at the time, hiding the booze, throwing away the knifes, they tried and tried but you seemed like a train wreck, when it happens you want to help but all you can do is watch as it goes up in flames.
Finally one of your friends couldn’t stand by and watch as you sunk farther and farther into depression, she got you a counselor and made you move in with her so she could keep a good eye on you.
now it's got a hold of me (hold of me)
I don't think I can make it through this
now it's got a hold of me (hold of me)
the less I do the more it makes no sense
I'm walking pollution who's drained by delusions
on the verge of destruction
I cave in to abduction
thin blood I'm bleeding
my pulse won't stop racing
just as my heart explodes
no chance that I could win
too hard to not give in
I just don't feel the same
cause I'm the one to blame
sometimes I can't hold on
and no one can help me
You were now going to the counselor frequently anytime you had the urge to cut, smoke, or drink. Your friend had helped a lot but your counselor had told you it would be better for you to get your own place to test your strength, she also said the job at the bar would help a great deal with your urge to smoke and or drink. She was right.
now it's got a hold of me (hold of me)
I don't think I can make it through this
now it's got a hold of me (hold of me)
the less I do the more it makes no sense
I need this to be myself
it feels like I need some help
it's too late to save myself
or it's just in my head
now it's got a hold of me (hold of me)
I don't think I can make it through this
now it's got a hold of me (hold of me)
the less I do the more it makes no sense
Coming back from your little flash back of the past you look at Marik and see him bobbing his head up and down to the music. You laugh as his platinum blonde hair flys all around. He stops when he feels you grab his hand and intertwine your fingers with his. Looking down at you (a/n-I’m sorry your shorter then him….so just deal with it :-P) and smiles, you give him a heart warming smile.

After The Concert
You and Marik were quietly walking up your lawn to your porch. Stopping suddenly, you look back at your house then to your car. ‘Crap’ you think ‘I just got evicted were am I suppose to go?’ Your pulled out of your thoughts as Marik says something to you.
Shaking your head you look at Marik “Uh….What?” you ask ‘Again nice going (y/n)’ Marik keeps on walking but answers your idiotic question. “Are you coming to get the rest of your stuff or am I going to have to do it for you?” he said chuckling. You just stand there…………..like a statue….. ‘Did he just offer what I think he offered?’
“And yes I did just offer a place to stay.” You look at Marik with a stunned look. You frown then run up to him. “I promise I won’t be a pain, I’ll do what ever you want me to do……wait that didn’t sound right rephrase I’ll do whatever you want except anything perverted, I’ll pay rent, I’ll…” you were about to go on more but Marik stops you, putting his fingers to your lips.
“Don’t worry about it…I know your in a bind so I’m helping you out.” Marik removes his fingers from your lips and walks up onto your porch. “Are you coming or not?” you turn around a subtle blush tainting your features. “Uh…..Yeah.”
-Go To Unknown
-Ok I got the idea for your past from the book 'A Child Called It' which I had to re-listen to in Advisory even though I've already read it like ten times and I own in *shakes head* but any ways I hope you enjoyed!
